As an organization, SAVOR is committed to sustainable and local purchasing for each of the venues that it manages. In Chicago, 33% of all food purchased at McCormick Place is local, organic or environmentally preferred. This includes sustainable seafood, meats raised without antibiotics and other farm-to-fork favorites from local businesses. In 2015, SAVOR…Chicago moved to serve only UTZ certified coffee throughout the McCormick Place campus and is constantly seeking additional sustainable and local partners.
